Chinese gaming device manufacturer OneXPlayer has officially unveiled its latest handheld console, the X2 Mini, featuring a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display and powerful processing capabilities. The device is powered by Intel's Arc G3 Extreme chip, aiming to deliver a premium gaming experience in a compact form factor.

Advanced Technical Specifications and Graphics Performance

The processor features a 14-core central processing unit, delivering multi-core performance comparable to the AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 in benchmark tests. It includes an integrated Arc B390 graphics unit with 12 Xe3 cores, capable of achieving approximately 90% of the performance offered by the RTX 4050 laptop graphics card.

The device incorporates an advanced cooling system with dual 5400 RPM fans and four copper heat pipes. It offers up to 32GB of non-upgradable soldered RAM, while storage can be expanded via two M.2 slots supporting PCIe 4.0 technology for high-speed data transfer rates.

Stunning Display and Versatile Usage

The 8.8-inch AMOLED screen displays images at 1920x1200 resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate, peaking at 1100 nits brightness and covering 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Users can detach the RGB-lit controllers to use it as a tablet or attach a keyboard to function as a laptop, offering significant versatility.

Pricing starts at $1,999, with costs attributed to the ongoing global shortage of DRAM memory chips. The device is currently available for pre-order through the company's official online store, featuring comprehensive connectivity options including USB4 and USB 3.2 ports.
