Nintendo has announced a special bundle for the new Switch 2 handheld console, featuring the popular game Monster Hunter Wilds, but this offer is currently exclusive to the Japanese market.
Bundle Details and Pricing
The package includes the original Switch 2 console with two Joy-Con controllers, a digital copy of the hit game, and a 90-day subscription to Nintendo Switch Online, priced at 61,980 Japanese Yen.
Existing Switch 2 owners in Japan can purchase the standard digital version of the game at a discounted rate of 3,742 Yen until January 7, 2027, while the Gold Edition, which adds cosmetic content, is available for 7,990 Yen.
Commercial Success Background
Monster Hunter Wilds achieved massive success upon its release on other platforms in February 2025, surpassing 11 million sales to become Capcom's fastest-selling game in history.
This exclusive Japanese launch follows a previous pattern adopted by Nintendo with Splatoon Raiders, and there are no current plans to distribute this specific bundle in Europe, North America, or other regions.
