Google Search Becomes a Full Travel Manager with AI

Google is moving beyond traditional search to offer a comprehensive travel experience, allowing users to track flight prices and book hotels directly within its new AI Mode interface.
Smart Tracking and Rewards Management
The new feature allows users to input their destination and travel dates to receive instant notifications when prices drop, with the ability to redeem miles and points for airline seats or hotel stays from networks like Hilton and American Airlines.
These services extend to partnerships with major booking companies such as Expedia and Marriott, facilitating comparison among hundreds of options without needing to switch between multiple sites, although the European Economic Area is currently excluded from this experience.
From Search to Immediate Execution
This development aims to transform the search engine from a simple information tool into a practical assistant capable of completing transactions, starting from searching for the cheapest tickets to final payment via Google Pay for accommodation bookings.
This step is part of Google’s strategy to integrate AI into daily activities, saving travelers time and effort and helping them make informed decisions based on live, updated data.
