Xiaomi Announces Launch Date for Xiaomi 18 Pro Series in China

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has set September 23 as the launch date for its flagship Xiaomi 18 Pro series, with an event scheduled in China.

The event will showcase the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, both equipped with a primary sensor and a periscope telephoto lens of 200 MP. They will be powered by a 2‑nanometer fabricated processor, feature M11‑based OLED displays and upgraded secondary screens.
Battery capacity and base model
The Xiaomi 18 Pro will carry a 7,000 mAh battery, while the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will boost capacity to 8,500 mAh. Analysts expect a base‑level Xiaomi 18 to appear later this year or in early 2027, and no Ultra variant is planned.
Industry context
The announcement follows a busy week for flagship launches: Vivo will reveal its X500 series on September 21, and Oppo’s Find X10 is slated for September 22, making the upcoming week crowded with high‑end smartphone releases.
