Goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shenawy suffered a second‑degree strain of the left adductor during training and will undergo a rehab program. Winger Taher Mohamed Taher sustained a severe bruise and a sprain of the left elbow ligaments in a match against Abu Qir Fertilizers, requiring continued treatment.

Midfielder Ahmed Nabil Koka suffered a second‑degree strain of the left hamstring a few days earlier. Defender Amr El-Gazzar incurred an anterior cruciate ligament tear plus an inner meniscus tear, sidelining him for several months. Left‑back Youssef Belamri tore his ACL and underwent surgery followed by a lengthy rehab. Defender Yasser Ibrahim continues his recovery after an inner ligament sprain and an outer ankle ligament rupture.
