Samsung Rolls Out Stable One UI 9 Update for Galaxy S26
Samsung has announced the rollout of the stable One UI 9.0 update for its Galaxy S26 lineup, including the S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra models, with plans to extend it to other devices in the coming weeks.
Update details
The experimental build, closed recently, is being replaced by the official release. Users who participated in the beta now receive the update immediately, while the rest of the series’ owners will get it later today.
The new version runs on Android 17 and brings a broader quick‑settings panel, better multi‑screen support, enhanced Samsung DeX window modes, a new Tape feature in Samsung Notes, and upgrades to Game Booster.
Technical background
Before the beta shutdown, One UI 9.0 was being tested on Galaxy A series devices (A25‑A57), the S23‑S25 series, and the Z Flip 6/7 and Z Fold 6/7 foldables. The stable build is expected to reach those devices in the weeks ahead.
This launch underscores Samsung’s commitment to quickly delivering Android’s latest platform to its hardware, improving user customization and performance.
