Samsung Adds Google Photos Integration to Gallery App After OneDrive Shutdown
Samsung has released an update for the Gallery Cloud Sync app on Galaxy devices running One UI 9.0, introducing direct integration with Google Photos following the discontinuation of OneDrive support.

Version 1.6.09.31 of the app adds a Google Photos sync option, although the feature is not yet active in the current build. Indicators suggest that official activation will occur on October 1 2026, one day after OneDrive support ends on September 30 2026.
What the integration offers
When enabled, users will be able to view the available storage in their Google Photos account, use tools to manage synchronization, free up device space, and access options to increase cloud capacity.
