Samsung Electronics is poised to officially announce the Galaxy S26 FE during the upcoming Galaxy Event on Thursday, which will also feature the unveiling of new tablets from the Galaxy Tab S series.

Advanced Tech Specs and High Energy Efficiency

The new phone will run on the Exynos 2500 processor, replacing the previous Exynos 2400, while retaining 8GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 128GB to 512GB. The display features a 6.7-inch OLED panel with +1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Protection includes an aluminum frame, Gorilla Glass Victus+, and IP68 water and dust resistance. A 4900mAh battery supports approximately 50 hours of usage thanks to the processor's efficiency, with 45W wired and 15W wireless charging support.

Enhanced Camera System and Smart Software

The device retains the previous camera setup with a 50MP main, 8MP telephoto, 12MP ultra-wide, and 12MP front sensor. However, the focus shifts to software improvements like Horizon Lock for video stabilization and My FanCam for tracking subjects within the frame.

Software features also include Audio Eraser, which removes background noise and distracting sounds from recordings, enhancing the user experience for self-recording and digital content, while relying less on physical lens changes compared to previous generations.

Higher Prices and Companion Tablets

Recent leaks indicate a price increase compared to the previous version, with the base model potentially starting at 800 euros and reaching 1100 euros for the highest storage option, a move that may impact purchase decisions among price-sensitive consumers.

Samsung will also reveal the Galaxy Tab S12+ equipped with the Dimensity 9500 processor, and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra with a 14.6-inch screen and 11600mAh battery, expanding the company's offerings in the high-performance tablet sector.
