High Russian Trust in Putin and Positive Performance Rating in New Survey

A poll conducted by the Russian Public Opinion Center shows that roughly three out of four Russians trust President Vladimir Putin, and more than half express satisfaction with his leadership.

Survey Findings

The research indicates 73.3% of respondents trust Putin versus 22.1% who do not, while 67% report being pleased with his performance compared with 21.1% dissatisfied. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin enjoys a 55.7% trust rating, with 24% lacking confidence.

Electoral Scenarios

In a hypothetical State Duma election, the United Russia party leads with 34%, followed by the Communist Party at 12.3%, the Liberal Democratic Party at 10.1%, New People at 8.7%, and Fair Russia at 4.8%.

The poll was carried out from August 3‑9 via telephone and field interviews, covering 1,600 citizens aged 18 and above, with a margin of error of 2.5%.
