Oppo Unveils New Watch S2 Smartwatch Featuring FatMax and Up to Ten-Day Battery Life

Oppo revealed its new Watch S2 smartwatch during a showcase that coincided with the launch of the Find X10 phone series in China, emphasizing enhanced fitness and health tracking capabilities.
Design and Features
The device features a 8.9 mm thick circular case weighing 34.4 g and is available in orange, misty pink, and gray. It introduces FatMax technology, which calculates the optimal heart‑rate zone for fat burning based on age, weight, height and activity level, displaying the estimated grams of fat burned during exercise.
Watch S2 also includes ECG, wrist‑temperature, blood‑oxygen and heart‑rate sensors. Oppo claims a 75 % improvement in photodiode resistance to interference and a heart‑rate detection accuracy of 98.8 % during workouts, according to company data.
Battery Life and Availability
The smartwatch is equipped with a battery that can last up to ten days in light use, about seven days under typical daily usage, and four days with the always‑on display enabled. Pricing and global rollout dates have not been disclosed yet.
This launch underscores Oppo’s effort to expand its wearable lineup and deliver integrated health solutions to consumers.
