Mourinho Warns of Difficulty Integrating Real Madrid Trio, Calls for Internal Competition

José Mourinho highlighted the tactical challenges of finding the perfect lineup for Real Madrid, emphasizing internal competition. He noted that integrating the star trio is difficult but expressed confidence in their ability to deliver exceptional performances.

Tactical Harmony Challenge

The Portuguese manager admitted the difficulty of playing Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior, and Jude Bellingham together, noting each national coach found their ideal formula. He stated it is harder for him to find a perfect team for all three, yet he aims to make them comfortable on the pitch.

Competition is Key

Mourinho refused to reveal the starting XI before the Espanyol match, dismissing locker room tension rumors. He said, "We will see who has the best relationships," confirming players know their status and preferring open competition over a fixed lineup.

Context of Crisis

This statement follows a turbulent season marked by leaks about divisions in the dressing room. Mourinho seeks to restore discipline and harmony, relying on his elite players' efficiency to achieve positive results in La Liga.

The upcoming clash against Espanyol will truly test the manager's ability to handle his stars, with success depending on individual and collective harmony. The focus remains strictly on pure sporting performance, away from media noise.
