Kuwait to Host Saudi Super Cup 2026/2027 Featuring Al-Nassr and Al-Ahli
The Saudi Football Federation announced that Kuwait will host the 13th edition of the Saudi Super Cup for the 2026/2027 season, featuring Al-Nassr, Al-Ahli, Al-Khulood and Al-Qadsiah.
Tournament details
All matches will be played at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, which seats about 60,000 spectators, from December 19 to 23. The semi‑final draw is set for October 14 to determine the pairings.
Historical context
This is the second time the Saudi Super Cup is held outside the Kingdom, following previous editions in London, Abu Dhabi and Hong Kong, highlighting strong sporting ties between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
Al-Ahli entered as the defending champion after beating Al-Nassr 3‑5 on penalties following a 2‑2 draw in the last edition.
