Iraq Squad Announced for Gulf Cup 27

Graham Arnold, the head coach of Iraq's national football team, has released the official squad that will represent the "Lions of Mesopotamia" at the 27th Gulf Cup.
Squad Details
The defensive line includes Ahmed Yahya, Mustafa Saadoun, Mitham Jabar, Zaid Tahseen, Akam Hashim, Yusuf Al-Imam, Mirhas Doski, Mohammed Dalaw and Ibrahim Baish. The midfield will be anchored by Zaidan Iqbal, Bassam Shaker, Zaid Ismail, Amir Al-Omari, Haider Abdul Karim, Abdul Razzaq Qasim, Karrar Nabil and Mohammed Qasim. Up front, Ahmed Qasim, Ali Jasem, Saif Rashid, Ayman Hussein, Ali Al-Hamadi and Youssef Al-Nasrawi will lead the attack.
Tournament Context
Iraq will be drawn in Group A alongside Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman for the first round. The matches are scheduled in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from 23 September to 6 October.
