Huawei Launches Qingyun L420z Laptop with 120Hz OLED Screen and 14‑Hour Battery

Huawei has unveiled its new Qingyun L420z laptop in China, targeting business users with a 14.2‑inch touch OLED display running at 120 Hz and a battery that can last up to 14 hours on a single charge.
Technical specifications
The device measures 226.8×312.6×14.5 mm and weighs approximately 1.32 kg, close to the MacBook Neo’s 1.23 kg. The screen offers a 2880×1920 resolution, 450 nits peak brightness, and full coverage of sRGB and P3 color spaces. It is equipped with quad‑channel LPDDR5X RAM and a dedicated SSD slot. Connectivity includes dual‑band Wi‑Fi (2.4 GHz/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, and ports such as USB‑C, two USB‑A, HDMI and RJ45.
Software and extra features
Huawei lets users choose between Galaxy Kylin and UnionTech operating systems. The laptop also features an HD webcam, backlit full‑size keyboard, large touchpad, fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button, and dual speakers with two microphones. Pricing and availability outside China have not been disclosed.
This launch underscores Huawei’s push to broaden its business‑oriented hardware lineup, emphasizing enhanced display quality and battery life for mobile professionals.
