Google unveiled a refreshed Pixel lineup on Wednesday evening during its annual event, introducing the Pixel 11 flagship, Pro and Pro XL variants, a foldable Pro Fold, the Pixel Watch 5, and a new Pixel Tag tracker.

Core device specs

The Pixel 11 retains the previous generation’s silhouette but arrives in fresh shades—light violet, pink, green and black. It is powered by the new Tensor G6 chip, which Google claims boosts web browsing speed by 25% and cuts app load times by up to 15%. Battery life exceeds 30 hours with wireless charging 25% faster than the Pixel 10.

The camera suite receives major upgrades: a 48‑MP main sensor, a 13‑MP ultra‑wide lens, and a 10.8‑MP telephoto unit offering 5× optical zoom, plus a 10.5‑MP front camera. Light sensitivity improves by 56%, and Super Zoom reaches up to 30×.

Pro, Pro XL and Fold enhancements

Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL introduce HiLight, an LED strip on the rear camera module that signals Gemini interactions and favorite‑contact calls. The Pro screen peaks at 3600 nits, while the camera array includes a 50‑MP primary sensor, a 48‑MP ultra‑wide lens, and a 48‑MP telephoto lens supporting up to 120× Pro Zoom, complemented by a 42‑MP selfie camera.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold features the thinnest hinges ever, three‑times greater durability, IP68 water‑dust resistance, and a 20% brighter internal display also capped at 3600 nits. It runs the Tensor G6 and offers up to 24 hours of battery life.

Pricing and availability

Pixel 11 starts at $899 (up $100 from the previous model) with 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM. Pixel 11 Pro begins at $1,099, Pro XL at $1,299, both with storage options up to 1 TB. The Pro Fold launches at $1,899. All models hit stores on August 20.

Software upgrades include Magic Capture, which extracts photos and short clips from video footage, and Camera Looks, a customizable processing suite that replaces static filters.
