Fatih Terim Departs Trabzonspor Following Administrative Decision
Trabzonspor has officially announced the departure of head coach Fatih Terim, a move signaling a strategic shift after a recent string of disappointing results that impacted the team's standing in the league.
Details of the Decision
The club stated via its official channels that the separation was necessary to align with its long-term sporting objectives, framing the decision as essential for the organization's future success.
This follows two consecutive defeats, including a loss to Hungarian side Ferencváros in European qualifiers and a domestic setback against Amied Sportif, prompting the change after 18 months in charge.
Player Reaction and Context
Amid the turmoil, Egyptian star Mohamed Salah reaffirmed his commitment to the club, stating that recent losses would not alter his dedication to the project he joined this summer.
Terim's tenure saw 35 wins, 13 losses, and 14 draws since March 2025, culminating in this abrupt end to his time at the helm.
