Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of the Kingdom Holding Company, stated that his ownership of Al-Hilal is a trust entrusted to him by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, according to remarks shared by Saudi journalist Hamad Al-Suilhi on social media platforms.

Highlights After the Victory

These comments followed Al-Hilal's decisive 3-0 victory over Al-Ahli in the third round of the Saudi Professional League, sparking significant reactions among fans and sports media outlets.

Prince Alwaleed bin Talal said in his message: "Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds... This is by the grace of Allah... Al-Hilal wants anything, we are ready, God willing," adding: "And Al-Hilal is a trust on our shoulders from my brother the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman."

Investment Background and Results

These statements follow an official announcement last week that the Kingdom Holding Company, controlled by Alwaleed bin Talal, acquired a 70 percent stake in Al-Hilal from the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia.

Al-Hilal currently tops the Saudi league table with twelve points, level with Al-Nassr but leading them on goal difference, placing them in a strong position in the title race this season.

This victory and the public engagement of major clubs reflect the growing emphasis on the sports sector in the Kingdom, as teams seek to enhance their competitiveness and attract supporters through clear and direct leadership messages.
